I must acknowledge and appreciate the influence of my sweet yet sassy grandmother, who unknowingly planted the seed that led to the establishment of Herbal Societea.
It is remarkable to consider that she grew up in St. Thomas, Jamaica, where tea-drinking was cherished by her family throughout the day. I personally, find it surprising to imagine enjoying hot tea in Jamaica's HOT climate all day long.
In today's world, tea may not always be the preferred beverage or perceived as trendy. Similarly, it was not always my beverage of choice either.
I have always been intrigued by my great-grandfather who is of Vietnamese background and great-grandmother whose background remains somewhat mysterious. They lived a life in harmony with the land, relying on nature's offerings and divine blessings.
I express my sincere gratitude for them as they are the reason she is here. So, my love, acknowledgment, and affection to my grandmother is for her role in shaping my journey.
